Last night I dissected a cow heart, and ended up on a call where I had to drive the paramedic truck! My first time driving an ambulance and I was completely alone. Got swamped with calls last night and now I have class.

Life's been hectic. I'm probably getting a job soon working at ShopRite deli having Matt Padron as my manager! Me and Craig have had some bumps, but it's because we both have so much on our plate, when we should be enjoying our college-aged years a lot more than this. I'm going to take him snowboarding on Valentine's Day (whether he likes it or not). I can't wait for spring, and I totally need a vacation to.. anywhere that's not NJ.

Ok, well I'm heading out to Wawa to get some orange juice before I pass out in class. Wish me luck.

I passed my EMT exam with an 83. I'm officially a certified EMT.

So much has changed in my life this summer, which is how my life usually ends up. I worked at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, I spent my summer with the most amazing boyfriend a girl could ask for, and I made many new friends who I have learned so much from.

I never thought my life would lead into this direction. I actually feel like I have a future now. I never would've thought I'd be taking Biology and Anatomy & Physiology classes at my own will.

I'm now officially a member of East Brunswick Rescue Squad, and am pretty confident that I passed my second attempt at my EMT certification exam. I'm riding my first shift tonight from midnight-5am. Happy to be riding again since I dropped Old Bridge.

Spending time with Craig has really been the highlight of my summer. We went to West Virginia together, and had a good time. Saw some cougars, went swimming in a pool on top a mountain with a breathtaking view, and just got away for awhile. I also went to Six Flags with Jess, and then again with Tony. Went to a few parties and get-togethers with good company. Just smiling and going with the flow is the best way to live.

Sicko is one of the most important films of our time. I urge you to see it.

Yesterday, Saturday, was a perfect day. I spent it with Craig pissing off geese, feeding deer, picnicing, and going to a great (I have to fess up) Brad Paisley concert. I had my first day at my unit today, and it was actually pretty damn easy-going. It's just kind of odd having a crazy scary guy intensly following you and staring at you all day. But I actually like my job I can say. I'm very happy right now with everything. I can't wait to spend fourth of July and take trip to West Virginia with Craig. I'm constantly smiling because of him.

I passed my CCT exam today. I found out that my unit isn't exactly what I pictured it would be, but everyone has to start from somewhere. It won't be that difficult to do overtime and float to ER soon, and that'll make me happy. Plus, I can't frown at this paycheck. And that fact that Robert Wood will payback for any nursing or paramedic education I do is quite frankly - awesome.

Now I have to focus on retaking my EMT exam next Thursday, and eventually figure out what my school schedule is going to look like. I'm a busy, busy bee. But, otherwise, I get to spend most of my time with the boy who makes me the happiest girl in the world.
